The machine is, of course, fully functional. All slides move very smoothly and evenly. Even at high spindle speeds, the Weiler runs smoothly. The Primus comes from a government facility where it saw little use. This newer generation of Weiler lathes is very user-friendly and allows for ground-like surface finishes.
